Memorial Day is coming up.  Do you want to become a life member?  If you are an annual member or want to join as a life member, now is the time!  If your application is approved and you pay for your membership (not the 12 month payment plan) the Department of Delaware will pay $100 of it.  Repeat, Dept. of DE VFW will put $100 towards any qualifying new Life Membership or upgrade!

A satirical reflection by Author/Artist Phil Fehrenbacher

Phil enlisted in the Army in 1965 where you served for years in Vietnam.  He became a graphic designer and has worked for the state of Oregon for 26 years.  He retired in 2003 and started the Cartoon "In-Country".  The cartoons reflect his experiences during his tour of duty in South Vietnam.


There is a new cartoon everyday.

Well the time is getting short for me.  I want to thank all of you for your help and support over the last several years.  We've come a long way and it wouldn't have been possible without you.  From the bottom of my heart, Thank You.  As the incoming Department of Delaware Commander, I want to make the Department more "Post friendly" if that's possible.  We will try to get the Patriots Pen and Voice of Democracy back on track.
 
Come out to the Milford High School auditorium on Memorial Day to see our community program.  It starts @ 10:30AM.  Rain or shine.
